Enrichment at Birch Meadow is...

  • Field trips to educational destinations.

  • Academic and social-emotional all-school presentations.

  • Visiting presenters for grade-specific programs.

  • Carefully chosen by our Birch teachers and principal.

  • Complementary to teacher-guided learning and MA curriculum frameworks.

Through Enrichment, grades 1-5 go on at least one field trip per year. Every grade including Kindergarten is provided with many wonderful in-school, curriculum-related programs and all-school assemblies and activities.

Enrichment is paid for…

  • Mostly by parents! $16,000 of the $17,000 PTO direct donation goal for the 2019-20 school year is allocated for Enrichment.

  • With grants whenever possible.

  • Also thanks to the generosity of some free or discounted presenters, such as the Friends of Parker Tavern and Zoo New England.

  • The wonderful Birch Meadow parent volunteers on our PTO Enrichment Committee!
